Vikram Singh

Vikram completed is first 400-hour teacher training certification with Moksha Yoga in Kerala, India in March 2008. Since then, he has been actively teaching at various Moksha locations in the GTA, New York, Montreal, Winnipeg and Halifax.

In December 2008, Vikram also finished a 200-hour ashtanga yoga primary series certification with David Robson of the Ashtanga Yoga Centre of Toronto. Since then he has completed an additional 200 hour intermediate series intensive with David Robson. Since 2008 Vikram has been a dedicated Ashtanga practitioner, practicing Mysore style daily at the Ashtanga Yoga Centre of Toronto. Vikram has additionally studied under the guidance of Sri. Sharath Jois at the KPJAYI in Mysore India to further deepen is Ashtanga practice.

Vikram’s passion for Yoga and wellness goes beyond that mat, and into his life with the fundamental belief that yoga if much more than Asana. Growing up in India - a culture steeped in the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda - he has completed training in Ayurveda at the Kripalu Centre in Boston. He has additionally studied Ayurveda in India with various teachers, and has apprenticed with Ayurvedic doctors. Vikram teaches workshops, and assists with the Ayurvedic component of yoga teacher trainings in the GTA.

Vikram’s classes are interactive, high energy and work on the simple belief that yoga goes beyond the asanas (physical postures) and flows into one’s daily life.
