Spring Awakening Yoga Retreat - English

Finally, your perfect escape has appeared for 2018!  Join me on my Spring Awakening Retreat to Goa, India as we celebrate the end of winter and the blossoming of spring.

The vibrant colours, sights and sounds of Southern India will guide us on our journey of self discovery and fulfilment.  Your days will be filled with daily yoga sessions, fantastic food, relaxing pool time, local sight seeing trips, and everything else incredible India has to offer you.

This journey for your mind, body and soul will be led by Birgit Brandstetter - breeyoga.  A certified yoga teacher based in Vienna.  Her path to teaching began in India, when she was working at a yoga retreat in Goa.  Her passion and desire for yoga led her to complete Hatha/Vinyasa yoga teacher training in Nicaragua under Tara Folton.  The focus on Vinyasa Flow drawn from this training channelled Birgit’s energy ensuring that her classes vary between powerful and flowy or gently and grounding.  Each class is suited to the needs of her students.  Inspiration for each class is founded on a strong connection with nature and integration of the elements and chakras (energy channels).  The large amounts of energy and ecstasy generated from some classes occasionally overflows into song and dance so do not be surprised to hear plenty of chanting of mantras and hearty’s “OOOOmmmm’s” in classes. To round up lively days and calm down for a good night’s sleep, Birgit loves to offer restorative Yin yoga classes. She has qualified as a Yin yoga instructor and truly believes in this individual and healing yoga style. As a qualified Yin yoga teacher and Nuad Thai yoga masseuse, Birgit is able to incorporate this knowledge into her classes, improving the alignment of her students.

Years of study and working in tourism management all over the world has been the perfect platform for Birgit to connect with her guests and understand their individual desires and requirements.
