Join Joan in Goa, India for a ten days of immersion yoga retreat style on the beachfront property of Devarya Wellness. Each morning there will be a two and a half hour yoga practice learning the foundation of certain postures and how to sequence them together in an intelligent way. Enjoy healthy vegetarian cuisine provided by Devarya Wellness and soak in the healing benefits of swimming in the warm Arabian Sea each day! Goa's beaches stretch on for miles and miles and the sunsets are captivating helping you to bring your attention into the moment and remember all the beauty that life offers. In the later afternoon, reconvene for a philosophy lecture or a wind down practice including restoratives, pranayama, and meditation. Devarya Wellness is a large scale retreat center that hosts yogis from all over the world and holds activities such as sound baths, kirtans, and meditations in the evenings. You can also choose to take part one of Joan's teacher training Elements of Yoga and make it up elsewhere in the world or return again to Goa the following year. This is the perfect combination of relaxation, diving deep into your yoga practice, and opening yourself up to the many healing benefits of yoga.
