Melissa Singh

Melissa Singh is a Culinary Nutritionist, Certified Meditation Teacher, Ashtangi and writer. She began her meditation practice in 2010 to heal after a severe concussion rendered her unable to continue playing rugby. She found respite on her meditation cushion, which ultimately allowed her to heal mind, body and soul. After years of practice, in 2015 Melissa became certified to teach Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction through the University of Toronto school of continuing education. She has been practicing Ashtanga yoga with David Robson since 2015, which has been her main practice. She shares her experiences, and offers health and wellness guidance as the editor and contributor to the Ashtanga Yoga Centre of Toronto Blog. Melissa also writes, teaches workshops and develops plant based recipes on her own blog melissasingh.com
