Arunima Sharma is an Ashtanga Yoga Practioner by heart and interior designer by profession. She has a graduation degree in interior design and a masters in fashion marketing. After years of spending time in metropolitans and working creatively in the design field she retraced her steps back to her cozy hometown DehraDun, which resides in the foothills of the Himalayas and started her yoga practice.
Yoga found her when she had given up on finding any activity which subsided her anger and irritation that cropped up with living in a busy and hectic lifestyle which on quality time for self. Shifting to Dehradun her hometown was and impulse and she has no regrets whatsoever as she came back to Mother Nature and in the arms of yoga. Since then she has been actively learning and teaching yoga across her town and traveling across her country.
She encourages people to spend as much time in nature as well as themselves. Honouring and listening to your own body is of utmost priority. Health is wealth and that is what she preaches.
Over her tenure of teaching yoga she has helped ailments like sleep disorders, bipolar disorders, slip disc, cervical pain, spondylitis, asthma, Parkinson’s disease and many more. She has single handedly helped people recover by treating them with the help of asana practice, meditation, pranayama, and Niti. Her youngest student has been a 6 year old girl and her eldest has been a 62 year old dynamic woman. Yoga is for everyone and can be started at any age and size. The more we look inwards the more change we will be able to bring outwards.
