Teaching Methodology: This will be the main aspect of our training. Under teaching methodology we would focus on principles of demonstration, observation, assisting and correcting yoga asana according to time, place and situation. This TTC also stresses on knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology. We would focus on the structure of the body as a whole, including the nervous system, cardiovascular system, circulatory system, skeletal system, and muscular system. Through these techniques, training and practice, you would learn not just how to teach and practice the techniques but to observe and analyze it yourself.

  • Postures - Yogasana - around 48 to 80 asana’s will be covered
  • Advanced asanas - Hatha Yoga tradition
  • Techniques of advanced asana of Patanjali and Ashtanga Yoga
  • Human anatomy -  muscle, digestive, respiratory, skeletal, nervous and hormonal system
  • Anatomy and physiology - how to prevent illness etc.
  • Koshas - the various layers of the human body 
  • Pranayama – techniques of controlling the breath (kapalabhati, shitkari, surya bhedana, nadi shodhan, sheetali, chandra bhedana)
  • Hatha yoga kriyas - shatkarma, dhouthi-tratka, noulli-neti, shankhaprakshalana, kapalabhati 
  • Meditation (kundalini, chakra, guided vedic and other dynamic meditations)
  • Progressive relaxation - Yoga Nidra
  • Energy centres - Chakra Systems
  • Food guidelines based on different doshas 
  • Energy locks -  Bandhas
  • Mudras of Hatha Yoga Pradipika
  • Trataka -  (concentration on a point)
  • Bhakti Marga -  Kirtan, Bhajans, Satsang
